About the Owner - Reid Paul

I was born and raised in Vermont, where I learned early the value of well-built things and honest work. My background includes a degree in Automotive Technology from Vermont Technical College, which shaped the way I approach carpentry today—methodical problem-solving, attention to detail, and an understanding of how systems fail over time.

Much of my early hands-on experience came from performing in-depth rot repairs on older Vermont farmhouses, where there’s no shortcut around doing the work correctly. Those projects taught me how to diagnose moisture damage, remove compromised material, and rebuild in a way that restores both structure and appearance.

I also have a strong appreciation for interior finish carpentry, especially projects where precision and detail matter. I don’t work in a production mindset—each project is approached individually, with care given to clean lines, proper fit, and a finished result that feels intentional.

My first carpentry job was at 22, and while my path hasn’t been linear, I’ve been working for myself for nearly five years. Lone Wolf Timbers was built around a simple idea: do the work properly, be honest about what’s needed, and treat every home with respect.

Every project is owner-operated, and I take pride in clear communication, realistic expectations, and delivering the best possible result—no shortcuts, no sales pressure, and no unnecessary work.
